Conclusion of Audit for Year Ended 31 March 2019

The external audit for 2018-2019 has now been completed. The auditor’s final report and certificate have been issued, and can be viewed here alongside the completed Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR) – Sections 1,2 & 3.

Notice of the Exercise of Public Rights to Inspect the Accounts

Each year the council is audited by an external auditor.  Any person interested has the right to inspect and make copies of the accounts to be audited and all books, deeds, contracts and other receipts relating to them.  The unaudited accounts for the year ending 31 March 2019 have now been published, and may be inspected on reasonable notice on application to the clerk.


The inspection period commences on Monday 17 June 2019 and completes on Friday 26 July 2019, providing 30 working days.

Notice of Audit for the Financial Year Ending 31 March 2018

The audit of accounts for Upper Rissington Parish Council for the year ended 31 March 2018 has been carried out but cannot be completed for the reasons stated in the auditor’s certificate.


The Annual Governance & Accountability Return Sections 1, 2 and 3 have been published, and are available for inspection
by any local government elector of the area. Please see the attached notice detailing the rights of inspection.



Conclusion of Audit for Year Ended 31 March 2017
