I am writing to you about Cotswold District Council’s Budget Consultation for 2021/22. We want to gather the views of residents and businesses, and of course Town and Parish Councillors, from across the Cotswolds to inform our plans for the year ahead. Set against a backdrop of the ongoing pandemic, it has never been more important that we deliver our services with maximum impact.
I’m not only writing to encourage you to give us your views, but to ask for your help in sharing the budget consultation with your communities so that we can gain the most accurate picture from across the District. Your councillors views’ and the views of residents in your area are key.
As part of the Budget Consultation we would like to invite Town and Parish Councillors and Clerks to a live Q&A session about the proposed 2021/22 budget with Cllr Mike Evemy, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Finance and Jenny Poole, our Chief Finance Officer.
The web meeting will be held on Tuesday 24th of November between 7 pm and 8:30 pm. Further details including how to join the meeting are given in the attached briefing pack.
