The Cinnamon Trust – Can you help?

The Cinnamon Trust is the national charity for the elderly and        terminally ill and their pets.  The Trust seeks to keep owner and pet together for as long as possible with the help of their national           network of volunteers who offer free assistance when day- to- day care poses a problem.

The Cinnamon Trust is trying to find some dog walking help for a      resident of Upper Rissington and Toddy their lovely 6 year old Westie so  has asked whether anyone in the area would be able to help.

The aim of the Trust is to relieve the owners of any worry concerning the welfare of their pets both during and after their own lifetime making them unique amongst charities.

All volunteers help in the ways that are most appropriate to them.  Teams take it in turn to visit housebound owners, to take dogs for daily walks, volunteers foster pets as one of their family when      owners face a spell in hospital, they take pets to the vet, clean the budgie’s cage out.  They take any problem posed in day to day care of pets. Volunteers can gain access to the volunteer page on the Trust’s website or or by emailing at

Any help any volunteer will be able to give will be very gratefully          accepted.
