Free Parking Offers Over Christmas

Cotswold District Council is reminding residents on Christmas shopping expeditions to remember that there are free parking offers available in several locations.

Motorists can park for free after 3 pm in several car parks across the District:

  • Brewery car park, Cirencester
  • Forum car park, Cirencester
  • Rissington Road, Bourton-on-the-Water
  • Old Market Way, Moreton-in-Marsh
  • Maugersbury Road, Stow-on-the-Wold
  • Church Street, Tetbury
  • West Street, Tetbury

Additionally, they can park for FREE ALL DAY on weekends and bank holidays at CDC’s Trinity Road office in Cirencester (GL71PX) and the St James’s Place offices in Cirencester (GL7 1FP). Both are only 5 minutes’ walk from the town centre.

Cllr Chris Hancock, CDC Cabinet Member for Enterprise and Partnerships, says:

“The continuing ‘free after 3 pm’ offer, together with the free weekend parking at Trinity Road and St James’s Place, should help save money for families who want to attend Christmas light switch-on and other festive events around the Cotswolds.  We also hope that these offers will encourage people to shop local throughout the festive season and boost trade in many shops across the District.”
